Welcome to Leroy Gordon Cooper Elementary School, home of the Cooper Crabs. Cooper is a beautiful neighborhood school in Cliffwood Beach, New Jersey. Our school houses grades from Kindergarten to 5th. We are proud to announce we have been selected as a New Jersey and National School of Character, and a recipient of 6 nationally recognized Promising Practices: The Farming Project, Readers of the Pack, Coop's Free Little Pantry, K-9 Comfort Club, Positive Postcards, and Coop's Cooking Club. Further, we have our very own Certified Therapy Dog which is utilized in various programs throughout the year, both in our school and district, as well as with our school counselor. 

Cooper School is committed to academic excellence, and to the warm and caring environment we provide for our students. Our team of teachers and staff work diligently to provide a learning environment where all students are respected for their unique abilities and talents. The Old Bridge Board of Education and its administration work closely with the staff and students to provide a school community in which we all feel safe and secure.
