GENERAL INFORMATION

Registration for Kindergarten through 12th grade is processed remotely through our Central Registration Department. There are no in-person registrations, no exceptions. Required documents are submitted via either email or our new exterior drop box. Please see options and instructions below.

  • Email as ONE pdf file, no other file formats will be accepted, do not email individuals files or images.

  • In the subject line please write New Student Registration.



Drop Box:

The drop box is located outside the Patrick A Torre Administration Building, 4207 Highway 516, Matawan, NJ 07747

  • The registration packet must be submitted in a sealed envelope.

  • Do not leave any original documents (ex. Birth certificate, passports).

  • You must make copies beforehand.  All copies must be one sided and no staples.

  • Children are registered in their zoned schools in order that completed registrations are received. Please be advised if grade-level capacity is reached, incoming students may be assigned to another Old Bridge Elementary School. In the event of an overflow situation, you will be advised of your child’s attending school.

  • Please use the provided checklist in the registration packet to help ensure you submit all required documents.

  • Incomplete packets will delay the start date for your child.

  • All students entering the district must be cleared medically by the nurse, no exceptions.

  • When communicating via email please include your child’s name in all correspondence.

  • Required documents may vary per grade level. Please read the registration packet carefully.

  • Special Education – if your child has a current IEP, it must be included in your file.

  • Affidavits must be completed and notarized.

  • Any foreign documents must be translated and submitted with a document of authenticity, no exceptions.
