Due to an anticipated heat wave impacting our region next week, the Old Bridge School District will be implementing early dismissals for students and staff for the following dates
- Wednesday, June 19
- Thursday, June 20
Additionally, Friday, June 21 will proceed as scheduled early dismissal and will be the last day of school.
We are providing this information early to allow families ample time to plan accordingly. Your safety and well-being are our top priority, and we believe these measures are necessary given the expected extreme temperatures.
As we approach the end of the school year, I want to wish all families the happiest and healthiest of summers. Congratulations to all our students who are participating in moving-up ceremonies and graduating from our school district. As the Superintendent, I am immensely proud of each and every one of you.
****Students cleaning out lockers and backpacks next week, please use the Green Good Guardians Notebook Recycling Boxes located at each school. The recycled notebooks go to underprivileged families.

Please be reminded that Old Bridge Township Public Schools will be closed on Monday, April 22 and Tuesday April 23 next week during the Passover holiday. The following facts are to inform you about the Presidents Day makeup date on Monday, February 19, 2024. The makeup date is aligned with the board approved 2023-2024 district calendar. Monday, February 19th will follow an early dismissal schedule. The township after care program will be operational and accommodate for the early dismissal.

A snow forecast is once again impacting our school district. The snow prediction models vary from 3-7 inches of snow. The time of the intensity of the storm in all models vary from late morning to early afternoon. Any of the forecasted storm start times do not align well with a delayed opening nor an early dismissal. Either option appears to place different school ages traveling during the heaviest snowfall.
Therefore, Old Bridge Schools will be closed tomorrow, Friday, January 19, 2024.
